Junior Savers Week takes place from Monday 5th October to Sunday 11th October 2026.

At Gateway Credit Union, we believe it’s never too early to start learning about money. Junior Savers Week is a nationwide initiative from the Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU), encouraging children aged 5 to 12 to learn about saving, money and good financial habits from an early age.

It’s also a great opportunity for parents and grandparents to start conversations about money at home and help children develop positive habits that can stay with them as they grow.
